Patient Information

Our goal is to make you feel comfortable and relaxed. We are here to listen to your questions, concerns, to help provide solutions leading to your better health and we want you to know that in our office you can expect to be treated with respect at all times. We strive to deliver the best diagnosis and treatment that dentistry has to offer. We believe that these goals can be met through a continuous and open dialogue between you and our entire team.

We encourage you to involve yourself in your own treatment and to ask questions throughout our relationship. In our opinion, an informed and involved patient is most likely to achieve the highest level of health, and we look forward to working with you to achieve this goal.

FINANCIAL INFORMATION

For your convenience, we accept Visa, Discover Card, Mastercard, American Express, and Care Credit. We deliver the finest care at the most reasonable cost to our patients, therefore payment is due at the time service is rendered unless other arrangements have been made in advance. If you have questions regarding your account, please contact us at 804-285-1378. Many times, a simple telephone call will clear any misunderstandings.

Please remember you are fully responsible for all fees charged by this office regardless of your insurance coverage.

We will send you a monthly statement. Most insurance companies will respond within four to six weeks. Please call our office if your statement does not reflect your insurance payment within that time frame. Any remaining balance after your insurance has paid is your responsibility. Your prompt remittance is appreciated. We can make arrangements for a monthly payment plan but this must be accomplished prior to the actual procedure.

INSURANCE INFORMATION

Your dental plan is a form of compensation provided by your employer. You can expect the carrier (insurance company) to reimburse you for a portion of our fee. That portion is determined by the contract between your employer and the insurance company. The higher the premium paid by your company, the more generous the reimbursement.

Although we are not a party to the contractual arrangement with your insurance company, we do want to help you receive the maximum reimbursement to which you are entitled. As a convenience to you, we will help you process your insurance claims in order for you to receive this maximum benefit. We will also gladly provide dental x-rays and a written diagnostic report should your insurance company have any questions about the services provided.

At all times, you can be confident that we will always provide you with our best services without regard to the limitations imposed by your insurance coverage. To do otherwise would violate our contract with you — a contract we feel morally obliged to honor.

Our office is a participating provider with Delta Dental Premier, Cigna PPO, Anthem PPO, Ameritas PPO and United Concordia (Advantage & Tricare). Please note that Dr. William Adams is not a provider for Cigna PPO, but your out of network benefits will pay toward your treatment if he is your provider.

In addition, we offer an in office membership plan, GroveSmiles Membership Plan, that may be a better and less expensive option for you and your family than dental insurance. Click these attachments to learn more.  GroveSmiles Club flyer   GroveSmiles Club FAQs  &  GroveSmiles Club Agreement

We are able to submit claims to most insurance companies. Please contact our office and we can provide you with more information.
